memoQ Auto-Translation Setup

Job ID: 39983237

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have memoQ installed and the official instructions on hand, yet I’m still missing that last mile—linking it to an automatic translation engine so every segment pre-translates on import. I’m open to either Google or DeepL; whichever you consider more stable, cost-effective, and easy to maintain is fine with me.

Here’s what I want to accomplish:
• Configure memoQ to authenticate with the selected API (key entry, server URL, quotas, etc.).
• Verify that machine translation fires automatically during analysis/pre-translation and returns usable output.
• Walk me through each step live (screen-share or annotated screenshots) so I learn the process and can repeat it myself later.
• If anything is still missing afterward—custom plugin settings, token refresh scripts, or glossary prioritisation—show me how to adjust them.

I already have the software downloaded and running; what I need now is your practical experience with memoQ plus Google Cloud Translation or DeepL’s REST endpoints. By the end of our session I should be able to import a document, hit pre-translate, and see the MT results populate without errors.
