Earth Observation And Machine Learning Expert Needed For Project Work (Europe)

We need someone (who has skills in the understanding of satellite remote sensing principles, technology and applications and in image analysis packages and Geographic Information Systems such as ENVI, ArcGIS and QGIS.
Practical experience of working with Sentinel, Landsat and very high resolution data is highly desirable.
Knowledge of machine learning will be an advantage.

Our company undertakes investigations mainly involving environmental crime - this is for Governments, environmental agencies NGOs, journalists.
We do bespoke investigations with satellite data, but also design detection models to find certain forms of environmental crime (sometimes countrywide).
All of us work remotely - are very friendly.
The person or person we are looking for might either be involved in particular cases, or several months long contracts, depending on their availability.
Possibility of something more permanent if thats a direction we all like.
We are flexible on rates depending on qualifications, experience, work undertaken and length of contracts.
