Being a key member of the Product Management and Buying Team, the Fashion Graphic Designer is responsible for various tasks including in-house textile graphics, artwork printing, and developing processes for offshore sampling and production.
The successful applicant for this role will perform the following areas of responsibility:
Constantly be evolving, conduct colour and graphic/print researches and keep up with style trends to artistically drive the brand forward with on-trend garment print/design concepts and ideas.
Create and deliver textile graphics, print concepts, packaging, and placement of artwork for all apparel across our brand categories in repeat.
Accurately communicate graphic/design and printing concepts to the Buying team for their interpretation of design direction as well as to gather the teams’ feedback.
Creating finished artworks in correspondence to the feedback received from the Buying team.
Accurately provide concept briefings to the Buying team so they can be communicated accurately to offshore suppliers for executions, catering to all types of yardages, graphic placements, screenprints, embroideries, embellishments, and more.
Execution of design packaging, CADs, and technical drawings.
Generate prints/colour trends report to express ideas with management and drive the garment art direction.
About You and Your Qualities:
Relevant bachelors’ degree or qualifications in graphic design with a focus on textile/garment print and embroidery.
Advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office programs skills is a MUST!
Proven experience with textile artwork portfolio is required.
Excellent communications skills and the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders yet confident to work autonomously if required.
Excellent time management and organizational skills that demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and the ability to juggle between tasks.
You must be highly motivated and thrive in a busy and fast-paced working environment and work towards strict deadlines.
Demonstrate a creative and original approach, versatility, and the ability to conceptualize.
Having an eye for colour and detail is a must.
