Senior Operations Manager For Fintech
Scope of the Role
The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for designing, improving, and monitoring the integrity and efficiency of the company’s operational processes, on all products along with the different functional areas of the business.
He/she will also design, modify, and implement all financial and legal management operations of the company to support current and new markets expansion opportunities.
This includes assisting in building partnerships and actively engaging with new or existing partners to help grow the offering across their channels and marketplaces.
The ideal candidate comes from a global investment banking background with a history of substantial success in implementing investment strategies across diverse markets and channels.
Job Responsibilities
• Design, implement and manage a cohesive financial and operational strategy and ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee internal and outsourced processes such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Compliance and other Legal functions.
• Co-own overseeing all investor relations activity, including management of external banking and investment markets relationships.
• Own product launch readiness, ensuring that client/customer-facing teams are prepared with the information, documents, and processes required to support new products.
• Plan and oversee strategic, operational, and administrative programs, projects, products and services of broad significance to the company throughout the designated functional areas of focus.
• Establish and implement organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures, as well as monitor and analyze programmatic and operational effectiveness and makes necessary improvements.
Professional Qualifications
• MBA or graduate degree in a Business, Finance, or Information Management field.
• 10+ years in any of the following: Investment banking, Hedge Funds, Structured Products, Special Situations and/or Mergers and Acquisitions.
• Asset Investment, Asset Management, Asset Research, and General Operations Management.
• 3+ in Fintech/Tech startup Businesses and Financial Operations Management experience or Tech focused Investment Banking, PE or VC experience.
• Deep familiarity with global investment banking products, markets and best practices, ideally with experience working in big investment banking companies (e.g., Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of product commercialization and revenue management.
• Experience leading complex financial, operational and strategic initiatives across various geographies.
