Design an eye catching small WordPress site
Budget: $200 – $250 USD
I am looking for an expert in building WordPress sites with high-end design skills (not just development)
Number of pages: 2 (homepage and blog).
● You are required to design an eye-catching and implement in WordPress.
I will give reference sites for the general layout and partial elements.
First, you should do a very rough layout of elements (content, design, etc.) in Photoshop (no need for a perfect mockup).
After we agree upon the PSD UIX, you can move on to implementation.
* after implementation, I may request some changes, so I need flexibility.
● You need to have much design experience and have a sharp sense.
I do NOT need you to just place rectangular block elements on white background (resulting in a flat, uninteresting design);
if that's how you build your WP sites regularly, then please don't bid.
● The starting point is a very basic theme and the main tool is a block editor plugin for Gutenberg;
no using any page builder or ready made theme, I need customization by hand heavily.
Very specific elements (slider, etc.) can be added as widgets; however *design styling is to be done by hand, in code*
so you need to have experience in coding WP manually.
● Top web-designer skills, to be able to give suggestions for the design.
- Fully responsive, very good rendering on mobile screens.
- I may ask a few times to make changes at the design on the way, if you are not comfortable with that please don't bid.
At the end:
1. Implement SEO with plugins and by code.
2. Implement security measures not only by plugins but also by code.
3. Test with https://gtmetrix.com and optimize all parameters.
I provide ftp for development site. When ready, it needs to be deployed on the final server (different domain).
Please bid only if you have:
- Extensive experience in customization WP by code (php, js, css)
- Good web-design skills.
