GDPR Compliance Review
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a marketplace and I must comply with GDPR rules there are two options I have and I want to check which one follows GDPR rules:
1. once the vendor deleted his account from my marketplace I need to decide whether to delete all his data including previous orders records.
2. Anonymize vendor info to keep the orders history for the following reasons:
a) A customer orders vendor products and then vendor is deleted from the system. The customer may become worried as the order will disappear from the list of orders on the storefront.
b) A customer would like to see the history of orders and when they are disappeared, customers may become disappointment
c) I may need vendor orders in accounting purpose.
The freelancer must justify his answer to me and share the relevant evidences from GDPR guidelines.
