Short, Strategic User Research project
Budget: £36 – £0 GBP
Hello, I run a popular digital music service in the UK that helps people find their new favourite band. We focus on underground alternative music.
Our customers are the bands, their record labels and PR companies who pay us to help promote their music.
I’m looking for an experienced, strategic user researcher who can give me the insight to make business critical decisions about the next big iteration of our product and our future roadmap.
More specifically I need someone who will:
1. Understand our strategy and business context
2. Put together a qualitative user research plan that evaluates the existing product and informs feature opportunities + commercial decisions. This will likely involve surveying our 5,000+ existing customers, so I need someone who knows about survey design and analysis - not just someone who’s doing desk research.
I want to understand to what extent our service meets their needs, what are their unmet needs when it comes to promoting their music, and what / how much they would pay for
3. Execute the research plan
4. Play back the research to me and talk through what it means for our product and business
4. Advise on ways to stay connected to customer needs / feedback as part of product user journey / customer lifecycle
