Tool control System
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Hi everyone, I need to develop a system to keep track of the tools inside a 4 drawer (21.5" x 17") rolling tool cabinet. The scope of the project is to list the materials needed to accomplish it and the cost of the software/programming involved. It has to be the lowest cost possible and have at least the following:
Raspberry 8mp camera or similar to compare digital images, Raspberry PI, a locking/opening mechanism with QR reading device to provide access to each different user, limit switches for each drawer to determine open/closed position and a display to interact with the system (non touchscreen).
Data must be available for one week with all the events.
