Virtual Care Nursing Support

Job ID: 40310092

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

I run a tele-health program focused on chronic-care management and I need licensed, tech-savvy nurses who can work remotely to keep our diabetes, cardiovascular and respiratory patients safe, informed and on schedule.

Your day will be split among three core duties:

• Patient monitoring – Pull vitals and symptom updates from wearable devices, mobile apps or phone calls, interpret the data, triage abnormal readings and escalate to the attending physician when thresholds are crossed. Clear, concise chart notes in the EHR are essential.
• Medical transcription – Turn dictated visit notes into structured, error-free entries inside Epic or a comparable HIPAA-compliant system within 24 hours.
• Appointment scheduling – Coordinate follow-ups, lab visits and specialist referrals, confirming times with patients and syncing everything back to the central calendar.

Tools already in place include Epic, Zoom, secure SMS and an in-house dashboard; if you know Athenahealth, Cerner or similar platforms, even better.

Deliverables I expect:
1. A daily log of each patient’s vitals and any escalations.
2. Transcribed notes that meet a 98 % accuracy threshold (random audits are performed).
3. A reconciled appointment roster at the end of every shift.

Shifts are flexible and I can accommodate multiple time zones as long as coverage remains seamless. Familiarity with HIPAA, remote bedside etiquette and strong written English are non-negotiable. If you have tele-nursing experience with chronic conditions and the discipline to work independently, let’s keep these patients thriving together.
