Texas Commercial Civil Engineering Projects
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I’m lining up several new commercial developments across Texas and I need a seasoned civil engineer who can carry a project from initial design concepts all the way through final inspection. Familiarity with Texas permitting, drainage criteria, utility coordination, and ADA requirements is essential.
Here’s what the engagement looks like:
• Design – Prepare site plans, grading, drainage, paving, utility layouts, and any associated civil calculations or reports required by the local jurisdiction. I rely on AutoCAD Civil 3D and would like deliverables in that format, ready for municipal submittal.
• Inspection – Once construction kicks off, I’ll need you on-call for periodic site visits, punch-lists, and formal reports that document compliance with the stamped plans. The focus is exclusively commercial buildings; no bridge or industrial inspections are in scope.
Collaboration happens via Zoom/MS Teams, with drawings shared through BIM 360. You must currently hold (or be able to obtain) a Texas PE license, carry professional liability insurance, and be comfortable signing and sealing final documents.
If you have direct experience delivering both design and inspection services for commercial projects in Texas, let’s talk through timelines and milestones.
