Fix Zen Cart Theme Issues
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I have just upgraded to Zen Cart v2.0.0 and installed a new theme (Wookie). Since the switch, two things need immediate attention:
1. Layout & visual tidy-up
• Some page elements refuse to line up and the menu occasionally breaks when viewed on tablet or mobile. I need these alignment quirks ironed out so every page—home, category, product, checkout and account—renders cleanly across modern browsers.
2. GST calculation bug
• GST is not being added to Australian orders that end up in the abandoned-cart state. It should trigger automatically for Australian customers only and nowhere else. Once fixed, totals, tax reports and abandoned-cart reminders must all reflect the correct GST figure.
Acceptance criteria
• Pages display without broken menus or misaligned blocks on Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, desktop and mobile.
• An Australian shipping/billing address always shows GST on product, cart, checkout and abandoned-cart reports; any non-Australian address leaves GST at zero.
• All changes are made via overrides or child files so future Zen Cart updates and theme updates remain painless.
• A brief summary of touched files and code comments are supplied at completion.
