Zapier Automation Enhancement for Structured Notes
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
Title:
Build Zapier automation: Otter.ai → ChatGPT → OneNote (structured meeting summaries)
Overview:
I need a Zapier automation built (and cleaned up) that takes meeting recordings from Otter.ai, generates structured executive summaries using ChatGPT, formats the output cleanly, and appends it into Microsoft OneNote.
I already have a partially working version, but the formatting and data mapping need fixing and improving.

Desired Workflow:
1. Trigger:
• Otter.ai – New recording (with transcript)
2. Processing (ChatGPT):
• Send transcript to ChatGPT (OpenAI)
• Generate structured executive meeting notes including:
o Meeting category
o Strategic level
o Executive summary
o Key decisions
o Financial implications
o Risks
o Actions (owner, due date, priority)
3. Formatting:
• Clean output for OneNote (plain text, no markdown)
• Ensure clean spacing and readable structure
4. Output:
• Append formatted meeting notes into Microsoft OneNote
• Into a specific notebook + section + page (existing)
Key Issues to Fix:
• Incorrect field mapping from ChatGPT (currently using wrong output field)
• Newline characters (\n) not rendering properly
• Output appearing as raw text instead of clean formatted notes
• Occasional JSON-style wrapping (e.g. ['text'])
Optional Enhancements (nice to have):
• Route notes to different OneNote pages based on meeting title (e.g. Rail, Road, Ocean, Procurement, etc.)
• Improve prompt for more concise executive summaries
• Ensure reliability and minimal delay after recording
