YouTube Project Manager for launching a new YouTube short films Channel
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
I am seeking an experienced YouTube Manager to help launch a new YouTube channel dedicated to rare and unusual art films.
The master project is to create and launch the new channel with 500 short films to create a substantial initial offering.
I need someone based in London, UK, to work with the physical hard archive.
The film formats are primarily DVDs and USBs, and also some VHS tapes.
The DVD films and the VHS films will need to be converted to MP4 format for uploading to the YouTube Channel.
The USB films can be uploaded directly.
*nota bena the small quantity of VHS films can be omitted, to be converted and uploaded separately later, if not easily possible to do at this stage.
Deliverables
1. Provide a written recommended strategy for the overall YouTube Channel project concept, including:
* recommendations about how to monetise the Channel;
* SEO strategy recommendations;
* a suggested marketing plan for the initial grand launch of the Channel;
* additional proposed recommendations and suggestions based on your experience and knowledge.
2. Helping with the initial setting up admin of the YouTube Channel, which we will do together. The input required here will be contributing guidance and reassurance in the context of your YouTube expertise and knowledge.
3. Main work: uploading 500 short art films to the Channel. This stage will involve the following steps:
* converting the hard copy films into the required file format ready for YouTube uploading;
* uploading each film to the Channel
* copypasting wording for the desciption of each film on each individual film page. This content will be provided in an Excel spreadsheet so this step will involve copypasting, *not typing in the copy content from scratch, and not creating and copywriting the content yourself*
* copypasting the associated key words for each film as YouTube 'tag words' (also provided in the master Excel spreadsheet)
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in setting up and creating YouTube Channels. Your YouTube Channel experience can be from any industry sector. (If you happen to be interested in art films then you might enjoy the work as you do it.)
2. Strong understanding of YouTube's best practices, using your knowledge and experience to be able to provide strategic recommendations about the YouTube Partner Program, SEO, marketing, and additional strategic advice.
3. Demonstrable track record of successful YouTube Channel creation, development, growth, and monetisation.
4. Impeccable organisational skills; a person with an enjoyment of thoroughness and accuracy; reliable; patient; a person who enjoys working on repetitive tasks and does not find such tasks annoying or frustrating or boring. (The work would perhaps suit a person with Asperger's.)
Note
* Most films are shorter than 10 minutes.
* There is no hard deadline for the project launch.
* Questions are welcome and invited.
Next steps, if this project is of interest...
* Please describe how you would approach this project.
* Please provide an approximate timeline estimate, and
* A budget breakdown for each stage of the project.
* Suggestions and additions to the proposed project plan outlined above are welcome and invited.
