We are looking for a Video Editor for an Odia YouTube channel focused on teaching-style content.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow with a serious content creator and work on meaningful educational videos.
About the Content
The videos are mainly:
Teaching / educational style
Talking head videos
Pentab explanation videos
PPT / presentation-based videos
Content will be in Odia language
Videos will be uploaded on YouTube
The editing style should be clean, engaging, simple, and retention-focused.
What We Need
We need an editor who can make educational videos interesting and easy to watch.
Your job will include:
Editing talking head footage
Syncing and arranging Pentab screen recordings
Editing PowerPoint / PPT visuals
Adding text, highlights, zoom-ins, and motion
Using relevant B-roll / graphics when needed
Making the video feel smooth, professional, and engaging
Creating a strong first 30 seconds (hook) to improve retention
Keeping the pacing suitable for YouTube educational content
Important Requirement
Strong understanding of Odia is a must
Since the content is in Odia, you should be able to:
Understand spoken Odia clearly
Cut based on meaning and flow
Add proper on-screen text/captions if needed
Maintain natural pacing for Odia-speaking audience
If you do not understand Odia well, this role may not be suitable.
