Long-Form YouTube Video Editor (Bilingual: Spanish & English)
We’re looking for a creative long-form YouTube video editor to join a long-term family travel project.
About the project
We are a bilingual family (Spanish/English) living in the U.S. and transitioning to full-time life in a camper/motorhome, traveling across multiple countries with our two young kids.
Our content is primarily in Spanish, with some English mixed in. The storytelling, pacing, and captions must feel natural in Spanish.
Our videos are story-driven, not casual vlogging.
We focus on real moments, challenges, growth, and the emotional side of leaving a traditional life for a house on wheels.
What we need (primary focus: long-form)
• Edit YouTube videos (8–20 minutes)
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and structure
• Ability to turn raw footage into a compelling narrative
• Engaging intros and retention-focused edits
• Clean, professional editing (music, b-roll, sound design)
Language requirement (important)
• Must speak and understand Spanish and English
• Content is mainly in Spanish, so fluency is required
• Ability to work with Spanish dialogue, timing, and emotional nuance
Thumbnails
• Ability to design or collaborate on YouTube thumbnails
• Understanding of curiosity-driven, high-CTR thumbnail styles
• Simple, bold, and emotional (not over-designed)
Short-form (secondary)
• Help pull short clips from long-form videos
• Basic edits for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok
• Short-form is supporting content, not the main focus
Ideal editor
• Experience with long-form YouTube storytelling
• Understanding of audience retention and watch time
• Creative input on hooks and structure
• Comfortable with family, lifestyle, and travel content
• Reliable, communicative, and open to long-term collaboration
