Freelance Video Editor & Content Creator – Multilingual Social Media Project
We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Video Editor & Content Creator with expertise in YouTube video downloading, editing, and multilingual content creation. This project involves curating and editing short clips of President Zelensky expressing gratitude, overlaying captions, and distributing the final content across multiple social media platforms in various languages.
Project Scope & Responsibilities:
• YouTube Video Extraction & Editing:
o Identify and extract relevant video clips from YouTube using yt-dlp.
o Edit and optimize video content for YouTube Shorts, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, FaceBook (Meta).
o Ensure video clarity, smooth transitions, and appropriate aspect ratios for different platforms.
o Ensure compliance with YouTube content policies to prevent takedowns.
o Manage batch processing of videos to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
• Montage Creation & Editing:
o Develop a cohesive video montage by seamlessly stitching together clips of President Zelensky expressing gratitude.
o Use narrative storytelling techniques to ensure the final video conveys a clear and impactful message.
o Incorporate smooth transitions, visual enhancements, and background audio/music where appropriate.
o Ensure a logical flow and engaging pacing to maintain viewer interest.
o Utilize color correction and stabilization to maintain visual consistency across various sourced clips.
o Apply cinematic/documentary-style effects to enhance the emotional and visual appeal of the montage.
o The final montage duration should be at the outer limit of social media platform guidelines while remaining engaging and impactful.
• Content Quality Standards:
o Video resolution should comply with social media platform guidelines (e.g., Full HD 1080p, 4K where applicable).
o Frame rate should be a minimum of 60 FPS for smoother motion, or comply with social media platform guidelines.
• Music & Sound Elements:
o The montage should include a background music score that is emotional, patriotic, inspiring, heartfelt, honest, genuine, and truthful.
o Music must be freely available or properly licensed to avoid copyright issues.
• Captioning & Multilingual Translation:
o Add captions identifying the event where the statement was made.
o Translate and subtitle videos into multiple languages, including:
 English, Ukrainian, Russian, Spanish, French, Polish, German, Hungarian, and Portuguese.
• Social Media Adaptation & Optimization:
o Format and tailor video content for specific social media requirements.
o Create multiple aspect ratio versions to meet platform guidelines (e.g., 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for TikTok/Instagram and Facebook).
o Videos must be subtitled by default to support sound-off viewing.
o Implement audience engagement analytics to refine content strategy.
• Utilization of Filmot Tools for Enhanced Video Processing:
o YouTube Subtitle Search: Search within YouTube subtitles, captions, and transcripts to locate specific phrases.
o Metadata Analysis: Extract video metadata for enhanced content classification.
o Transverso: Advanced search capabilities for video content analysis.
o Filmot Search Engine: Leverage Filmot’s ability to index over 1.1 billion transcripts and metadata across 1 billion videos and 69 million channels.
o Advanced Search Functionalities: Use Filmot’s tools to search for specific words or phrases in multiple languages, filter by channel, and locate unlisted videos.
o Search Optimization Settings: Familiarity with Filmot’s features such as delayed video start times, language indicators, and availability filters.
• Workflow & Project Management:
o Operate primarily in English (conversational fluency required) and Ukrainian (full fluency required) for project communication and execution.
o Conduct independent research to locate relevant video sources and verify translations.
o Establish a workflow for video acquisition, editing, translation, and distribution.
o Ensure timely delivery of high-quality content under set deadlines.
Expected Workload & Deliverables:
• Creation of one video montage featuring clips of President Zelensky expressing gratitude.
• The final montage should be compelling, visually cohesive, and emotionally engaging, effectively portraying Ukraine’s gratitude.
• Project completion is expected within one week of assignment.
• Minimum daily updates on project progress.
• Freelancer must submit draft versions for feedback before final cut.
• Iterative revisions are expected if adjustments are needed.
• Adherence to content guidelines and submission deadlines.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Expertise in yt-dlp for YouTube video downloading.
• Proficiency in FFmpeg and professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Strong experience in montage editing, storytelling, and seamless video sequencing.
• Experience with subtitle creation and multilingual translation workflows.
• Familiarity with captioning tools (e.g., Aegisub, Subtitle Edit).
• Deep understanding of social media algorithms and best practices for video distribution.
• Prior experience working with Filmot.com tools or willingness to quickly learn and integrate them into the workflow.
• Knowledge of geopolitical context and President Zelensky’s public speeches.
• Ability to independently manage a content pipeline, ensuring timely video production and distribution.
• Familiarity with YouTube content policies to prevent video takedowns.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with AI-based tools for speech-to-text transcription and translation.
• Familiarity with political or news media video editing.
• Understanding of metadata extraction and video indexing.
• Experience in digital marketing and audience engagement analytics to enhance video performance.
• Ability to integrate background music, voiceovers, and visual storytelling elements for a compelling montage.
Security & Copyright Compliance:
• Ensure no copyrighted content (e.g., music, stock footage) is used without proper licensing.
• Follow platform guidelines to avoid content removal or demonetization.
Deliverable Submission Format:
• The preferred file format (MP4, MOV, ProRes for archival) should comply with social media platform guidelines.
• Multiple compressed versions may be required for different social media platforms.
Project Objective:
This project is designed to visually demonstrate the gratitude of President Zelensky and the Ukrainian people for international support. The final video montage will be distributed widely to reinforce Ukraine’s appreciation for global assistance and counter misinformation.

Compensation:
• Compensation will be negotiable based on experience and workload expectations.
