Windows Program for SQL Data Insertion
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a Windows-compatible program that can execute a DOS .bat file, read values from .txt files after its execution finishes, and insert them into a MariaDB SQL table
Has to be able to be "scheduled" to auto-executed each 12 hours. Could be a resident, a Windows Service, or via Windows Task Manager
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in programming for Windows
- Experience with SQL, specifically MariaDB
- Familiarity with DOS .bat files
- Ability to read and process .txt files for config (IP of the DB, user, pass, table, fields, etc)
- Ability to read and process .txt files (xml style)
4 variables will be readen from the .txt files
8 fields will be updated at the DB (4 for the variables, 4 time-stamps)
The successful freelancer will be able to efficiently connect these components into a seamless data insertion process
No graphic UI needed, no user interaction foreseen at the moment. If I put my self to read and study "how to" using C or C++, I can perfectly do it my self. I'm looking for someone that can do it quickly.
Source Code must be delivered, with a deployment guide mini document
