Google Sheets API SCRIPT to Fetch XML Response

I am looking for a developer to help me connect google sheets to a external api that would request inventory data from a supplier.
I would need this script to run for multiple line items and fill in inventory data for each specific sku. I already have the xml request body and sample responses just need a way to connect the two.
