Fix Sitemap Indexability Issue

Job ID: 39847914

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

My sitemap at https://morphymail.com/sitemap_index.xml returns “URL is not indexable” when I run an inspection inside Google Search Console. Robots.txt is not blocking it, the sitemap directive is already present, and I have submitted the URL in Search Console, yet it still refuses to move from the “Discovered – currently not indexed” state.

I need someone who understands the subtleties of XML sitemaps, canonical/alternate tags, HTTP status codes, header configuration, and Search Console reporting quirks to locate the exact cause and resolve it. That may involve correcting malformed XML, adjusting response headers, fixing duplication or noindex conflicts, or any other server-side or CMS-level tweaks necessary to persuade Google to crawl and index the file.

Deliverables
• A concise diagnosis explaining why Google flags the sitemap as non-indexable
• Implementation (or clear, copy-paste-ready instructions) that fixes the root cause
• Confirmation in Search Console—via a fresh inspection—that the sitemap becomes “URL is available to Google”

I host on a standard Apache stack with cPanel access and can grant temporary FTP or WordPress admin rights if required. Ideally, I’d like this wrapped up within the next 48 hours and am happy to approve milestones for diagnosis and final confirmation.
