Gaming XenForo Forum Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The task is to install and fully configure a brand-new XenForo forum on my existing hosting account. The community will revolve around gaming, so the layout, categories, and any starter theme should feel at home for players, modders, and esports fans.
I already have the hosting environment ready—standard LAMP stack with cPanel access—so you can dive straight into the XenForo upload, database creation, and licence key configuration. Beyond the core installation I need user rankings and badges enabled through the appropriate XenForo add-on(s) and properly styled to match the overall theme. Private messaging or social media hooks are not required at this stage, but the setup should stay flexible enough for future add-ons.
Deliverables
• Clean XenForo 2.x installation on my server
• Database and file permissions tuned for security and speed
• Gaming-oriented theme applied and lightly customised (logo, colour palette)
• User ranking & badge system installed, configured, and tested
• Basic admin settings documented so I can add forums, groups, and badges on my own
Once everything is running, a quick walkthrough (screenshots or short Loom video) showing where to manage users and badge tiers will wrap it up.
