Storyteller Wanted: Bring the Restoration of a Colonial-Era Home & Antiques to Life

Job ID: 39703250

Budget: ₹22,000 – ₹24,000 INR

I’m seeking a creative storyteller to transform my journey of restoring a 1914 colonial-era house—and its collection of antique furniture and art—into a captivating visual and written narrative.
This is not just about lime mortar and polish. It’s about reviving history and preserving the spirit of a bygone era. The finished work will live in multiple fomats. As a limited-edition printed book/journal. As a slick, visual presentation. As a short feature film.

Your mission:
• Capture the story through interviews with me, exploring the vision, challenges, and moments of joy along the way.
• Unearth the past from archival material (as already available with us) and the house’s historical footprint.
• Curate the journey from a treasure trove of over 4000 photographs and hours of restoration videos.
• Shape the narrative covering themes of heritage and history and the passionate & meticulous restoration of the house and furniture.

You should have:
• A gift for weaving history, personality, and visuals into an emotional narrative.
• Skills in writing, storyboarding, and scriptwriting.
• Skills in film making & editing
• A passion for art, culture and heritage
• An editorial eye for selecting the most powerful images and moments.

The goal:
To create something that not only documents the restoration, but breathes life into it—so that anyone reading or viewing it feels the magic, dedication, and beauty behind the journey.
