Sales Chat Specialist - Full-Time/Part-Time

We're looking for an experienced chat specialist to join our team.
**About the Role**
- Primary responsibility is holding well structured conversations with shoppers via chat in our dashboard. The conversations you have assist with training our AI.
- You'll be working with our existing team of chat specialists and also have exposure to many other areas of the company if desired.
- Training and SOPs will be provided to help get you up to speed quickly.
- This is a contract-to-hire role with possibility of being part-time if desired.
- As a startup, this position also has the possibility to grow in multiple directions if desired.
- We're looking to improve our coverage of weekends and holidays, so if you're open to those schedules please note it in your application.
- You'll be joining a 100% remote company in a 100% remote forever position.
**Skills & Experience that Will Make You Successful in this Role**
- Previous experience in a sales or customer success role over chat (preferred) or in-store
- Previous experience in the consumer retail industry
- Strong written communication skills
- Empathetic - being able to put yourself in the shopper's shoes counts for a lot
- Great time management and team communication - your team will be counting on you to collaborate and maintain schedules
- Well organized - we continually look for opportunities to improve how we do things and make processes repeatable
- Quick on your feet - must be able to understand brand tone and respond appropriately on the fly
- Independent thinker - our team is very helpful and open to questions and we will teach you how to work our system but want you to be able to problem-solve and go after the task at hand
