I’m looking for a poet who can distill the ache of unrequited love into a single, first-person piece. The poem has to feel intimate and personal, almost like a confession whispered to an empty room: romantic at its core yet shaded with quiet sorrow.

I’m not strict on form—free verse, meter, or a subtle rhyme scheme can all work as long as the flow serves the mood. Vivid imagery, emotional depth, and a cohesive narrative voice are essential. Aim for language that lingers and evokes that bittersweet pull between hope and resignation.
