Book Review Research Assistant

I’m looking for someone who can take the legwork out of digging up detailed, trustworthy product reviews—specifically for books. Each week I’ll send you a shortlist of titles (usually new releases, sometimes back-list gems) and I need concise, well-sourced summaries that capture overall sentiment, common praises or complaints, and any notable expert commentary.

Here’s how the flow will work: I’ll provide 5–10 ISBNs or Amazon links. You’ll scour platforms such as Goodreads, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, major newspapers, and reputable blogs, then condense what you find into a clean Google Sheet and a one-page narrative brief. Include direct quotes where they illuminate a point, note the reviewer’s credibility, and always link back to the original source so I can verify. I’m most interested in patterns—recurring themes in praise or criticism—rather than raw star counts.

Deliverables each cycle:
• A Google Sheet with source links, review excerpts, sentiment tag, and date collected.
• A one-page summary (Google Docs or Word) highlighting overarching sentiment, standout insights, and anything polarizing.

Acceptance criteria: every cited review must be from within the last 24 months unless a book is older, at least three independent sources per title, and no AI-generated reviews.
