Think light, lively language that children can read on their own or enjoy aloud with a parent, sprinkled with facts or gentle moral lessons that feel organic to the narrative rather than tacked on.
Each story should run roughly 500–800 words, feature age-appropriate vocabulary, and close with an obvious yet subtle educational moment—be it a science nugget, a bit of geography, or a social-emotional insight. Characters and settings can be as imaginative as you like, provided the core message remains grounded and relatable for this age group.
