set up wordpress wp-admin and harden files and database

I have a backup like6 months old i finaly found and need help either choosing a different security plusin or have someone who knows what theyre doing on the job. My site was hacked before and who knows what kind of malicious code or policies it still has. I need someone expert with WP security to make my site strong again.
