Scope of Work

The developer/designer will be responsible for:

1. Website Platform & Design
• Build on WordPress with a premium page builder (Bricks Builder preferred, Elementor Pro acceptable).
• Fully custom design aligned to Elarion’s luxury brand aesthetic (minimal, elegant, white space, premium typography).
• Responsive design – must look flawless on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Brand typography & colors:
• Headings: Elegant serif (e.g., Playfair Display, Didot)
• Body: Clean sans-serif (e.g., Lato, Helvetica)
• Accent colors: Gold / Rose Gold + neutral tones
• Use high-resolution product & lifestyle photography (provided by us).

2. Pages & Structure
• Home Page – Hero banner, featured collections, USP highlights, testimonials, press mentions.
• Shop / Collections Page – Grid layout with filter/sort.
• Product Detail Page – Zoomable images, product details, size guide, care instructions, “Add to Cart” button.
• About Us – Brand story, values, ethical sourcing.
• Contact Us – Form + Google Map integration.
• Cart & Checkout Pages – Optimized for conversions.
• Blog – For SEO and brand storytelling.
• Legal Pages – Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, Returns Policy.

3. E-Commerce Setup
• WooCommerce setup & configuration.
• Currency: GBP (£).
• Payment gateways: Stripe, PayPal.
• Shipping setup: UK-wide with flat rate + international shipping options.
• Taxes/VAT setup.
• Wishlist & save-for-later option.

4. Speed & SEO Optimization
• Speed score: Minimum GTMetrix “A” or Google PageSpeed > 85 for desktop & mobile.
• Image compression (ShortPixel or similar).
• Minification & caching (LiteSpeed Cache or WP Rocket).
• Basic SEO setup:
• SEO plugin (Rank Math / Yoast)
• Meta titles & descriptions for all pages
• Image alt tags
• XML sitemap submission to Google Search Console

5. Training & Handover
• Provide 2 hours training (Zoom/Google Meet) on how to:
• Add/edit products
• Change content/images
• Update blog posts
• Handover all website logins, licenses (if any), and files.

• Payment via secure platform (Upwork/Fiverr escrow) – 50% advance, 50% on delivery.
