Wordpress site with Woo commerce built in Elementor

Job ID: 31231080

Budget: $50 – $0 AUD

Looking for a Developer/Designer to create a layout for a Wordpress site with Woo commerce, that has already been loaded into our server. We are asking that the website is built using Elementor, so that our inhouse team can make simple edits to the website over time.

This project focus is to build out a desktop/mobile responsive template for the website and have a "minimum viable" functioning website- where products (already loaded by us) are arranged and optimised, added to a shopping cart and the checkout functioning. As we are a wholesale company, we have also installed Wholesale Suite (a package of 3 woocomerce plugins), which needs to be optimised on screen and functions.

That is the point where the project ends and it is handed back to us.

An example of the look and feel of the website is as follows: https://www.officechoice.com.au/office-stationery/pencils.html

We expect that in getting to this level, several other decisions will need to be made, and some specific enhancements will need to be designed - these projects will likely lead to further ongoing "mini" enhancement projects during the coming months, on an iterative basis as our needs develop and become clearer as we use this website for our business. The goal of this immediate project is limited to getting to the simplest completed transaction only, for a "retail customer" and a "wholesale customer".

We have another inhouse developer (NOT a website/wordpress expert) who has built some complex processes in another system to manage products/product information, and an integration has been built that sends the products, categories and attributes to woo commerce via API. This integration will inform the way that the pages need to be laid out and should give some clarity as to what our navigation and structure needs to be.

We have some competency as a company in IT/databases, but lack the skills in wordpress/woocomerce. Furthermore, our team has some basic competency with Elementor, and will fill the gaps in the template on the usual pages (like about us, policies etc etc), so the focus is mainly on how the website will handle products on screen.

We expect after this project has been achieved, there will be many further projects over time to fine tune the client experience.
