Wordpress maintenance CTO CRYPTO (https://thecointimes.net/)
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
An excellent opportunity for an experienced WordPress Developer / Web Developer to join a fast-growing crypto newspaper in a fully remote position.
Reporting directly into the Director the main responsibilities of the Web / WordPress Developer/ maintenance director will include:
Website & Database Backups.
WordPress, Theme, & Plugin Updates.
Security Monitoring
Scheduled Maintenance Updates
Notifications & Alerts.
Check and Delete Spam Comments
Keep track of updates for the themes and plugin
Conducting bi weekly audit to check everything working properly
Audit any loophole and set trackers to block anyone who attempt to login
Set up Advanced security parameters to prevent malicious activity
Find and Fix 404 Errors
Working closely with a Designer, Project Manager, and Technical Director
Designing new pages for existing websites, in keeping with the current design
Make content changes to client sites
Assist with support tickets submitted by clients around website issues
The role will require the following skills:
WordPress
JavaScript
CSS
PHP would be a bonus but not essential
You will be joining a company who always encourage and assist with professional development, where there will be great opportunities for progression given their rapid growth.
Most of the team are based across the world, all working remotely but remain a very tight-knit team with daily contact and regular socials. 100% remote so you could be based anywhere in the world.
