· Goal: Update the "Projects" section of the website to reflect current offerings and completed work--without altering site structure, navigation, or design system.
I. Project Overview
BioRealty is a life science real estate investment and development firm. We are seeking a WordPress freelancer to implement several clearly defined updates to our Projects section.
Please Note: This is a content-level update only. This is not a redesign and does not involve changes to navigation, theme files, plugins, or site structure.
II. Scope of Work
1. Remove Project
• Location: Projects → Projects Available For Lease
• Project Name: “The Biome at Clayton”
• URL: https://www.biorealty.com/projects/
Requested Change:
• Remove this project from the website so it is no longer publicly visible.
Acceptance Criteria:
• Project no longer appears anywhere on the live site
• No broken links or layout issues remain
2. Rename Project
· Location: Projects → Projects Available For Lease
· Current Name: “Astra Innovation Center”
· New Name: “627–635 S Kansas Ave.”
Requested Change:
· Update the project title on the Projects listing page (thumbnail view).
· Update the project name anywhere else it appears publicly on the website.
Acceptance Criteria:
· “Astra Innovation Center” no longer appears publicly on the website.
· “627–635 S Kansas Ave.” displays consistently across the site.
3. Replace Project Brochure
· Project: “627–635 S Kansas Ave.” (formerly Astra Innovation Center)
Requested Change:
· Replace the existing brochure PDF linked to this project with a new brochure file (to be provided).
Acceptance Criteria:
• Clicking the project thumbnail opens the new PDF.
• The old brochure is no longer publicly accessible through the site.
• PDF link works on desktop and mobile.
4. Add New Completed Project
• Location: Projects → Projects (Completed)
Requested Change:
· Add a new completed project to this section.
We will provide:
• Thumbnail image
• High-resolution images
• A PDF mockup containing desired content structure (including section headers and pull quotes)
• A MS Word document with the full copy for the webpage
The new project page should match the overall layout and style of existing completed project pages, while incorporating the subheadings and pull quotes indicated in the provided PDF. These elements should be formatted consistently with the site’s existing typography and design system.
Acceptance Criteria:
• New project appears alongside other completed projects.
• Clicking the thumbnail opens a fully built project page.
• Formatting is consistent with existing completed project pages.
• Images are properly sized and responsive.
III. Requirements & Constraints
· Maintain current theme, styling, and layout patterns.
· Do not modify navigation, menus, plugins, or theme files unless approved.
· All changes must be responsive (desktop + mobile).
· No additional plugins without approval.
IV. Deliverables
· All updates implemented on the live site (or staging if preferred).
· Brief summary of what was updated and where.
· Confirmation that all acceptance criteria have been met.
V. Proposal Requirements
· A fixed total price for completing all four change requests
· Estimated completion timeline
