Issue Summary: I am experiencing issues with updating my WordPress website. Specifically, I am unable to upgrade to the latest version of WordPress or update any plugins.
When attempting to update the site, I receive the following error:
• Error message:
• The authenticity of wordpress-6.7.2-new-bundled.zip could not be verified as no signature was found.
• Unpacking the update…
• The update cannot be installed because some files could not be copied. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions: wp-admin/includes/update-core.php
• Installation failed.
This issue appears to be related to file permissions or server configurations that prevent proper updates. As a result, I’m also concerned about the overall performance and stability of the site, as this issue might indicate underlying problems that could affect future updates and functionality.
