Scope of Work: Fix Website Issues Without Elementor Pro Subscription
Project Overview: We are experiencing issues with the display of the three Testimonials and pictures as well as the Our Blogs sections at the bottom of the website, www.jbncapital.com. After the integration of an AI bot and the update to Elementor Pro, these sections no longer appear as intended. The hosting company has suggested updating Elementor Pro to resolve the issue, but we do not wish to subscribe to Elementor Pro. The goal is to find a solution that does not require the renewal of the Elementor Pro subscription, restoring the Testimonials and Blog sections on the website.
Objectives:
Restore Testimonials Section: The Testimonials section is currently not visible on the front end of the website. This section should be restored without requiring an Elementor Pro subscription.
Restore Blog Section: The three blog posts at the bottom of the page are not displaying as expected. The goal is to ensure that these blog posts show properly in the designated section, without requiring Elementor Pro.
Tasks:
Site Audit & Issue Diagnosis:
Perform a full audit of the website, focusing on the issues caused by the update to Elementor Pro.
Review the Elementor widget settings and custom code to understand why the Testimonials and Blog sections are not displaying. Identify any compatibility issues between the current version of Elementor (Free) and any other plugins or custom code on the site.
Testimonial Section Restoration:
Investigate the structure of the Testimonials section to determine why it is not displaying.
Ensure the section is compatible with Elementor Free, or find an alternative solution to create and display testimonials without Elementor Pro. Implement the solution and verify that the Testimonials section displays correctly across different devices and browsers.
Blog Section Restoration:
Review the code or settings associated with the blog display.
Resolve the issue causing the blog posts not to display correctly.
Ensure that the blog section shows the latest three blog posts, formatted correctly, and without Elementor Pro.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Test the website across different devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) and browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) to ensure all sections (Testimonial & Blog) appear correctly and function as expected.
Ensure no other elements on the site are negatively impacted by the changes.
Verify the overall functionality and speed of the website after implementing fixes.
Documentation & Handover:
Provide a brief report detailing the changes, including any code adjustments or alternative plugins.
Guide how to manage and update the Testimonials and Blog sections in the future, without relying on Elementor Pro.
Deliverables:
Restored and functional Testimonials section.
Restored and functional Blog section (displaying three blog posts).
Testing and quality assurance of the entire website.
