ReachWeightLoss.com sits on WordPress and is overdue for a complete technical and on-page tune-up. The primary objective is clear: grow organic traffic. To make that happen, the site needs fresh, data-driven keyword research (I don’t yet have a list), properly structured meta tags, and smart content improvements that speak to both search engines and real readers.
Here is what I need, broken down into concrete, testable deliverables:
• Keyword research: use tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar to build a focused list of high-intent, low-competition phrases in the weight-loss niche.
• Meta optimisation: write and implement compelling, keyword-aligned title tags and meta descriptions for every indexable page, ensuring correct length and uniqueness.
• Content work: identify thin or overlapping pages, suggest new topics, and create or rewrite copy where necessary to hit the new keyword targets while maintaining the brand’s friendly, motivational tone.
• Technical polish: audit core vitals, crawlability, internal linking, schema markup, image alt text, and XML sitemaps; then fix or guide fixes inside WordPress (I currently run standard plugins like Yoast).
Acceptance criteria
1. A documented keyword list with search volume and intent notes.
2. Updated meta tags live on the site, verified in Search Console.
3. A before-and-after crawl report showing eliminated errors and improved page health.
4. At least three new or overhauled content pieces ready to publish.
