I’m running a production WordPress site on a single Amazon EC2 instance and the box is showing persistently high CPU and memory usage. I need someone who can jump in, diagnose what’s chewing through resources, and resolve it without downtime.
While you’re in there, I also want the instance hardened: tighten security groups and IAM roles, patch the stack, verify SSL/TLS settings, and close any obvious holes in Apache/Nginx, PHP-FPM, MySQL, or WordPress itself. The end goal is a stable server that performs normally under load and follows current AWS security best practices.
Deliverables
• Root-cause report on the CPU/RAM spike and the exact fix applied
• Applied security improvements with a short hand-over document describing changes
• Post-work verification that page load times and resource usage are back to expected levels
