WordPress REST API Simple Integration Project
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer with expertise in REST API integration to troubleshoot and configure our WordPress site to work with Make (formerly Integromat). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress, REST APIs, and common security plugins like Wordfence.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve a 403 Forbidden error when connecting Make to our WordPress REST API.
Verify and configure correct authentication methods for API access.
Ensure there are no restrictions in .htaccess or server configurations blocking the API.
Adjust Wordfence and other security settings to allow API access without compromising site security.
Test the connection using Postman or similar tools to ensure successful API calls.
Enable and review debugging logs to identify any issues.
Requirements:
Proven experience with WordPress development and REST API integrations.
Familiarity with Make (formerly Integromat) and API connection setups.
Strong knowledge of security best practices and experience with plugins like Wordfence.
