I am seeking an experienced developer to modify and enhance an existing WordPress plugin, which currently works exclusively on my website. The goal is to transform the plugin into a universally compatible version that can be downloaded from the WordPress marketplace and installed on any WordPress website.
The new plugin must retain all of its current functionality, including the integration of created zones with WooCommerce as flat rate shipping costs per zone, allowing the website owner to define the price and minimum order for each zone based on shipping class. Additionally, the plugin should include a new feature that enables users to save their address from the product page for cart and checkout use (using the most frequently entered address).
Here's an overview of the project requirements:
1. Modify the existing plugin to ensure compatibility with any WordPress website.
2. Retain all current features of the plugin, including Google Maps API integration, drawing and labeling zones, calculating shipping costs, and integrating zones with WooCommerce as flat rate shipping costs per zone with customizable pricing and minimum order based on shipping class.
