WordPress Development for Wellness Recovery Platform

Job ID: 39546775

Budget: $100,000 – $0 USD

Young People in Recovery (YPR) is seeking proposals from experienced website developers or digital agencies to build a customized, participant-facing web platform that will serve as a central hub for wellness goal tracking, engagement, and Recovery Capital Index (RCI) insights. The platform will be developed using WordPress, designed with a mobile-first approach, and must include secure user accounts, personalized goal onboarding, real-time progress dashboards, and support for localized program oversight through chapter-based groups.
This project is part of YPR’s broader mission to provide accessible, inclusive, and empowering recovery support for young people and their families across the country. We envision a platform that helps participants define what wellness looks like for them, whether that means complete abstinence, reduced use, or maintaining a stable path. The system should then provide participants with relevant content, personalized nudges, and meaningful coaching that aligns with their goals.
The platform will allow participants to:
Create an account

Set SMART goals through a guided onboarding wizard

Receive tailored content through SMS and email

Track their progress over time

View their Recovery Capital Index (RCI) score and trends

Reflect on their accomplishments and continue building momentum

Administrative users and Chapter Leads will have secure, role-based access to support participants, assign users to chapters or groups, and monitor progress while respecting user autonomy and privacy.
The selected vendor must demonstrate experience in user-centered design, modern WordPress development, and third-party integrations, including Twilio for SMS and Brevo for email. This RFP seeks a full-scope proposal that includes planning, design, development, testing, and deployment. The completed platform must be ready for use by July 2025.
