We are a niche investing platform focused on microcap investing education and research. Our website is built on WordPress (Kadence theme) and is being developed by an intern. We are now looking for an experienced freelance web developer who can guide the intern, review the current website setup, and eventually take on long-term management and upgrades.

Review the current website structure, plugins, theme configuration, and backend setup.
Identify issues, inefficiencies, or risks (performance, security, SEO, plugin conflicts, etc.).
Provide a clear, actionable audit report with:
What’s working well
What needs improvement
What should be prioritized for upgrade or fixes
Assist Current Junior Developer
Guide the current developer on how to implement necessary fixes and follow best practices.
Help optimize their learning and ensure smooth collaboration.
Suggest Future Improvements
Recommend scalable improvements, such as:
Speed optimization
SEO enhancements
Security hardening
Content structuring
Membership or subscription features
Long-Term
Ongoing site management and maintenance
Periodic audits and performance optimization
New feature development as Early Edge Club grows
Membership or subscription features improvements
Coordination with founder and content team
Technical Requirements
Strong experience with WordPress (Kadence theme experience is a bonus)
Knowledge of performance optimization (speed, caching, image optimization)
Plugin management and conflict resolution
Experience guiding junior developers or interns
Good communication skills and ability to explain technical decisions
