Woocommerce Partial Refund Issue with Stripe

I am encountering a technical issue in my Woocommerce store related to processing partial refunds through Stripe. When I issue a partial refund for shipping to a customer, it erroneously creates a new order reflecting the refund value. The refund amount does not appear on the original order. This might possibly be a web hook issue with Stripe, but I'm not entirely sure.
