Around 20 standard CMS articles in total - no special UI, just a standard header and footer
5 custom websites like About Us, FAQ, contact, delivery, etc.
Two custom features:
- calculating the cost of delivery (server-side, asynchronous)
- based on country, postal code, package type, and weight (can be a bit more complex, please add a buffer for unknown)
- all the data needed for calculation will be provided from an external system via REST API. Maybe a custom API endpoint will be necessary to receive and save the data into the database.
- For each country, we will need to display tables with a delivery cost for informative purposes. Nothing fancy but you should be aware that it cannot be static. The information must be loaded from custom DB tables.
- custom product attributes - boolean and number but displayed in a form of a pictogram with description and visual scale. Example: If the value of a boolean attribute is true, then display a certain description with an image (in the correct language). If the value of a number attribute is 4, then fill in four blocks out of 5 on the scale. There will be a single scale for all the numeric attributes. We must be able to provide the values for each product via REST API.
- color and size - I don't think it's custom but we also need to define sizes and colors for each product via REST API. Color is represented by png/jpg image. We eighter need to be able to upload png via REST API or at least define a complete dictionary of colors (on the eCommerce side) and pass names only (string). Solid colors are not enough, the product has texture, which is why a png is needed.
Please share the ballpark. I will ask for a reestimation once the designs are ready.
I know how time-consuming is to work on a new, custom functionality. Usually, because clients don't know what they need. In this case, we're talking about the reimplementation of an existing store. All requirements are well defined. You will be supported by QA and PM.
NDA (Non-disclosure Agreement) and Intellectual Property (IP) Agreement will be added later before we proced with selected freelancer.
