WooCommerce UI/UX Restyling (Staging Only, No Rebuild)

Project Description

I am looking for an experienced WordPress / WooCommerce developer to work on an already live e-commerce website.

This is NOT a new website build.
The site is live and must remain fully functional at all times.

The project focuses on non-destructive UI/UX restyling, cleanup, and technical refinement, with maximum stability.

Scope of Work
1) Workflow & Safety (Mandatory)

Work ONLY on a staging environment

Never work directly on live

Full backup before any deployment

Deploy to live only after my approval

Post-deployment functional checks required

2) UI / UX Restyling (Non-Destructive)

Improve visual consistency (layout, spacing, typography, colors)

Use Elementor Global Styles wherever possible

No rewrite of existing logic

No heavy animations or unnecessary JavaScript

Mobile-first approach is mandatory

Areas to improve:

Homepage (especially above-the-fold)

Product pages

Checkout UX

Header and footer consistency

Design reference (colors & style) will be shared after project award and confirmation.

3) Cleanup & Optimization

Remove unused or redundant plugins

Resolve overlapping functionalities

Improve performance and stability

Keep the setup clean and maintainable

4) Email System & Notifications

Configure WooCommerce emails so customers receive only essential notifications:

Order received

Order shipped

Order delivered

Emails must be fully branded as the website

No third-party or supplier-branded emails visible to customers

Proper SMTP configuration required

Avoid duplicate or excessive emails

5) Payments & Orders

Ensure Stripe and PayPal are correctly configured

Test:

Successful payments

Failed payments

Order status changes

Email triggers

6) Content Pages

Ensure proper structure and styling for:

FAQ

Privacy Policy

Terms & Conditions

Shipping & Refund pages

(Content already exists or will be refined during the project.)

Requirements

Strong WooCommerce experience

Strong Elementor experience

Experience working on live production sites

Clean, non-destructive workflow

Clear written communication (no calls required)

Timeline & Budget

Estimated duration: 7–10 days

Fixed budget

No milestones required

SEO is NOT included (will be handled in a separate project)

Important Note

This project requires careful, non-destructive work on an existing store.
If you usually rebuild websites from scratch, this project is not suitable.
