Website Optimization & Advanced Animation Development
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
Expert Web Developer for Website Optimization, Accessibility & GSAP-Based Animations
We’re seeking a highly skilled front-end developer to optimize and refine an existing WordPress website based on a detailed technical directive and scope of work. This project involves comprehensive improvements to accessibility, performance, security, SEO, and the implementation of scoped, scroll-triggered animations using GSAP, ScrollTrigger, and Lenis. All work must strictly adhere to provided Figma designs and meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
Scope of Work:
Accessibility:
Add missing ARIA labels and HTML5 landmark roles
Ensure keyboard navigability and clear focus states
Improve placeholder and label usage in all forms
Ensure full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance
Performance Optimization:
Minify and consolidate CSS and JS files
Lazy-load media and defer non-critical assets
Eliminate unused WordPress classes, plugins, and inline code
Defer third-party scripts and improve Lighthouse and PageSpeed scores
Security Hardening:
Remove WordPress version exposure
Implement proper input sanitization
Strengthen headers (CSP, X-Frame-Options, etc.)
Prevent brute-force attacks
SEO Enhancements:
Add meta titles, descriptions, canonical tags, alt text
Implement schema markup (JSON-LD) for organization and services
Review and optimize XML sitemap and robots.txt
Code Quality:
Clean, DRY, semantic HTML5
Modular, maintainable CSS/JS
Remove dead code and unnecessary dependencies
Strict adherence to indentation and naming conventions
GSAP Animation & UX Refinement:
Implement pixel-perfect, scoped animations using GSAP, ScrollTrigger, and Lenis
Recreate scroll-based transitions, reveal effects, and micro-interactions based on Figma
Ensure smooth performance across devices (no jank or flickers)
Leverage GPU-accelerated transforms and throttled event listeners
You Should Have:
Expertise in front-end performance, accessibility, and semantic markup
Deep knowledge of JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and animation libraries like GSAP
Experience implementing scroll-based animations and micro-interactions from design files
Strong familiarity with accessibility tools (WAVE, axe DevTools, Lighthouse)
Ability to deliver high-quality, production-ready code without micromanagement
Respect for clean, readable, and maintainable code structures
Validation Tools (Required):
Google Lighthouse
WAVE / axe DevTools
Google PageSpeed Insights
GTMetrix
Google Rich Results Test
SSL Labs and HTTP Security Header Scanner
Deliverables:
Optimized site in a local/staging environment (without affecting live site)
Fully validated, WCAG-compliant, SEO-optimized front-end
Animation layer aligned precisely with Figma designs
Clean, modular source code ready for production
This is a precision-driven project for a client who will be reviewing the codebase — not just visual output. Please apply only if you're confident in your ability to deliver high-performance, technically sound code.
