Very simple calendar system for Wordpress

I run a design studio which is currently overloaded and I need some assistance with some development work.
There will be more work for the correct person. The first project is for a customer with a very small gym.
We will be creating a very basic wordpress site in house. But your job will be to create a booking system for their members to sign up and book their classes online.
The system will include a calendar which will be visible on the website. When members are logged in theyll be able to book their classes online.
The system will send an SMS notification when members sign up, book a class and 24 hours before a class.
