Urgant important but easy, update and secure a wordpress websit ethat has been spammed

Job ID: 32545998

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

Hi I hope you can help,

My client informs me their website has been hacked, it’s a WordPress website for a charity.
On logging into the site, I found some interference with the main browser menu and some multi-lingual spam posts published as 'uncategorised' so they are not immediately visible. It looks like this has been going on since early in December. I can't see what login they originate from. There is no sign of my own email security being compromised.

I have just travelled back home this evening from visiting family over Christmas so I am not really on top of this, but wanted to let you know what was happening as soon as possible.

I have deleted some of the spam posts but will leave a couple up so that you can see the problem. Luckily none of them seem especially awful.

Please let me know what I can do to help secure the situation.

The charity is Christian in its nature, do not bid if this is against your values. The main focus of the charity is being a pacifist, they actively campaign against nuclear weapons.

Please do not bid if you do not have experience of cleaning up and making safe WordPress websites.
On logging in I saw the following information. I want please these security updates done and the blog set up so that these posts cannot be made again in the same way if possible (but we do still want legitimate bloggers to be able to post as they do already.)

To the winning bid I can provide the bidder with the WordPress username and password, and of course the host access – which means you get access to PHPMyAdmin, MySQL and FTP settings.
Feel free to add/edit the current settings, but do not change the functionality.
Plugins list is as follows and site security updates WordPress recommends are in the attachment.

Below@ an example of a post that should not be displayed.

Wordpress Login
Web address. To prevent Google indexing this for the URL, and also to ensure this is read and bidders are only those that have understood and read this, I will only consider your bid if you can type as the keyword the URL of the website. The URL of the website in question is this but reversed, the easiest way to get it correct is to put this URL /ku.gro.rekamecaepnacilgna.www//:sptth
into https://www.textreverse.com/
And reverse it, you will then get the URL starting with https://www.

Thanks and happy bidding!
