Stabilize Lightsail WordPress Site
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My WordPress site runs on an AWS Lightsail instance and, whenever traffic surges, it slows to a crawl and finally stops responding. There are no 500-series errors or database warnings—just pages that sit and spin until browsers time out. I already have a standard caching plugin in place, yet the problem persists.
I need someone who understands both WordPress internals and the Lightsail stack to uncover the real bottleneck, put a fix in place, and prove the site can stay fast under load. That may involve tuning Apache/Nginx, PHP-FPM, MySQL, object caching, or suggesting a smarter way to handle spikes (CloudFront, Redis, etc.). I’m open to recommendations as long as the end result is stability and consistent performance.
Deliverables
• Diagnostic report explaining the root cause and metrics gathered
• Concrete server or WordPress configuration changes applied, with clear documentation so I can reproduce them
• Short load-test or monitoring proof showing the site remains responsive during a simulated traffic spike
If you’ve solved similar high-traffic slowdowns on Lightsail before, let’s get this sorted quickly.
