Speed up Woocommerce site

For some reason it is extremely slow to load and it stalls. This isnt an issue with the host but with the code.
Page speed tests will show as excellent but when you look at the preview images they generate there will be nothing past the logo and menu. After this it can hang for up to a minute before the rest of the content appears.
I advise trying it in incognito mode.
