Small Wordpress E-commerce Site Revamp

Job ID: 35934498

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

We have an existing site that we would like redesigned. This site was created 7 years ago and is in bad need of a refresh. We want to ensure a clear, clean shopping experience for our customers. The main focus of this project is to revamp the homepage, category pages, and item pages. We are okay with you using a template, it does not need to be fully custom work.

We have some plugins that may be redundant when you redesign and we are okay disabling/removing for the final release.

Site: bitlounger.com

This is built in Wordpress using WooCommerce as the backend. We would like to keep this as a WooCommerce store.

Retain existing functionality:
WooCommerce
Newsletter signup (Mailchimp)
Chatbot (Tidio)

Important:

1. Branding
1. We have a logo and primary color we like, however, we are open to a new style guide. This includes: secondary/tertiary colors, button design/states, font, etc.
2. Homepage
1. Users shop for items in one of two ways, either by System or by Product. It likely makes sense to highlight these on the home page.
2. Mobile friendly - currently, the home page does a terrible job when viewed on mobile. It is responsive, however, it’s hard to navigate to specific categories of items.
3. On the homepage we would like to draw attention to becoming an affiliate for our brand. This should not be high on the page, but more prominent than just in the global navigation.
4. We would like our affiliate application (currently on an external Typeform link) hosted within the site using a contact form instead of sending the user to the Typeform link.
3. Category Pages
1. Redesign the category pages (ex: https://bitlounger.com/product-category/products/cartvault/)
4. Item Pages
1. Redesign the item pages to emphasize the images/video
2. Make social sharing available, but less dominant on the page
3. We need to make it very clear when items are in “Backorder” status

The only additional features that are not currently on our site that we would like are:
1. Ability to add tracking number to an order and the customer be able to track from their account. Currently, we enter in the tracking number as a note to the customer, but there is no way for the customer to track without copy/pasting the tracking number elsewhere to track.
