Simple Wordpress Migration - Backend Developer or Full-Stack Preferred
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Hi there! I am looking for help with a simple, Wordpress migration between hosts.
I strongly prefer someone with great cPanel-skills and would prefer a back-end transfer using that method.
I will have cPanel installed in both locations and have managed a migration in the past for a client. I had help when I managed the client-project, however and frankly, I want to be absolutely sure it is done correctly. Also, I don't want to re-learn everything about how to do it, haha.
I'm looking for someone that is willing to help me understand the process and that can educate me on what you are doing and why.
If things go well, I have another straight-forward project in cPanel that I would like help with, including the education component. I am, of course, happy to pay for the education-time, so please factor that in (with some transparency), in your bid. We would negotiate the second small project separately after this one is done.
I'm open to phone, screen-share or step-by-step email instructions for the education-component.
I am kind of hoping for a longer-term fit between us for far-future-projects, and I'm OK with someone talented that doesn't have a huge portfolio yet. There is an NDA and there strong privacy-requirements (mostly for the future), so I'd like to keep the same person for the future.
To be honest, though, things might be a bit spread-out, as far as time between now and future-gigs. The timing depends on a number of factors beyond my control.
I'm hoping to make a decision on someone this coming Friday, but I'll definitely have a hiring-decision by next Friday. Things are a bit hectic this week.
If this sounds like a fit, please let me know what you are thinking. Thanks a million!
