I’m working with a PHP 8 application that should run under a standard XAMPP stack, yet every local launch stops immediately with an “Undefined function” error. The code does depend on the cURL extension, which is already enabled on my side, so the root cause seems deeper—possibly a PHP 8-specific change that the project hasn’t accommodated.

Here’s what I need from you:

• Spin the project up in your own XAMPP environment (I’ll provide the full codebase in a ZIP).
• Confirm whether you can reproduce the failure or get it running out of the box.
• If it starts fine for you, document the exact PHP 8 settings, module list, and any subtle differences so I can mirror them.
