Regularly Manage CANONICAL DUPLICATE CODING in my WORDPRESS website

I am an author having written hundreds of articles over the years.
Im pretty late in making my website, although its ready now. Primary motive of making the website is that I want my students to spend time and also I can have good ranking over google & start having ads aswell.
But once I started posting my articles for my viewers to read over the website, most of them are shown 60-75% SELF PLAGARISED with my OWN name here & there.......Some of them are displayed in Google books & some are in my publisher's website under my own name itself.
My website developer has suggested to hire some1 who can add CANONICAL CODING in wordpress so that google understands that Iam the same chap.
